Girls’s Golf Preview: Redbird Invitational

The Basics
The Drake girls’s golf crew can be again on the course for its first occasion of the 2025 fall season with the Redbird Invitational, Sep. 7-8. The occasion, hosted by Missouri Valley Conference counterpart Illinois State, can be held at Weibring Golf Club and see groups play 54-holes over three days.

About the Course

Weibring Golf Course is the house monitor of Illinois State and was designed in 1962 by golf course architect Robert Bruce Harris. The course opened in May 1964 and went underneath in depth renovations again in 2000. The course will rating as a par 72 and measure in at 6,093 yards for the match.

Up Next

The Bulldogs will take to the course subsequent on the Lady Clerico, hosted by Oral Roberts, Sep. 15-16. Drake will journey all the way down to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the occasion and tee it up from Hillcrest Country Club.
