PREVIEW: Coyotes open season at Platte River Rumble

ASHLAND, Neb. – South Dakota cross nation is ready to open its’ 2025 season Friday night time on the Platte River Rumble in Ashland, Nebraska.
 
The Coyotes will race within the Platte River Rumble “Gold” race for the second consecutive season. The race is held at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park in Ashland. The race is schedule for a 6 p.m. begin for the ladies’s 5k and a 6:45 p.m. begin for the boys’s 6k.
 
THE YOTES
South Dakota was picked fourth within the girls’s Summit League preseason ballot and fifth within the males’s preseason ballot final week. USD’s athletes to look at are Geneva Timmerman and Abrielle Jirele on the ladies’s aspect and Natnael Kifle and Isaac Ochoa on the boys’s aspect.
