It was on a piece journey to Nova Scotia that Ingrid Williams purchased a digital camera and began snapping footage for the primary time since she was a teen. The setting was so lovely, she merely needed to seize it.
Fifteen years later, as 225 Daily reports, Williams has made a profession for herself in portrait pictures, capturing the lives of native graduates and the personalities of musicians alike.
In highschool, Williams all the time had a digital camera in hand.
“It was like I had forgotten about my passion,” Williams says in the present day. “I had forgotten how important pictures and memories (were) to me.”
After her Nova Scotia go to, Williams was working her nine-to-five, taking pictures lessons and begging buddies to let her observe on them when she learn a 225 article on Baton Rouge photographer Jordan Hefler. Williams says seeing Hefler’s live performance pictures impressed her to get into the music scene.
Today, Williams‘ portfolio consists of pictures of artists like Louisiana-born musicians Lauren Daigle, Trombone Shorty and Tarriona “Tank” Ball; plus others like jazz songstress Quiana Lynell and bluesy singer-songwriter Samantha Fish. Each portrait options distinctive pops of coloration that permit the photograph and its topic to shine.
