Bridlington 5k and enjoyable run to be staged on ‘gorgeous’ seashore

A group operating occasion is returning to Bridlington seashore.

Trophies will probably be awarded for female and male opponents who end first in a 1km (0.6-mile) enjoyable run and a 5km (3.1-mile) race.

Councillor Nick Coultish stated the occasion promoted “health, wellbeing and community spirit”.

The races will probably be staged on the south seashore on 14 September, starting at 11:00 BST.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council, which is organising the occasion, stated the course would start close to the lifeboat slipway and end in entrance of Richie’s café.

Spectators will be capable of watch from the seashore or promenade.

Coultish, the council’s cupboard member for leisure and tourism, stated he was excited to announce the return of the occasion, which he stated was “set against the stunning backdrop of Bridlington’s coastline”.
