Huskies FInish Fourth at Metropolis Intercollegiate

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — The UConn males’s golf crew received their season underway this week and tied for fourth place at The Metropolis Intercollegiate on the Metropolis Country Club on Tuesday afternoon.

The Huskies completed the event with a crew rating of 878 (+38) on the par 70, 6,827 yard course, tying with host Columbia for fourth place within the 15 crew area. North Dakota State and Richmond had been co-champions of the occasion, each ending at +27 (867) for the event. Siena was third taking pictures 875 (+35). 

UConn performed two rounds on Monday, taking pictures 295 on the primary 18 holes after which got here roaring again within the afternoon, posting the third lowest spherical at 286. The Huskies completed the event with a 297 on Tuesday.

Junior Bradley Sawka led the crew, ending in fifth place individually with a remaining rating of 215 (+5) after constant rounds of 71 (+1), 72 (+2), and 72 (+2).
