Teen arrested for alleged taking pictures at distant swimming space close to Concow

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. — An arrest has been made in reference to an alleged taking pictures at a distant swimming space close to Concow over the weekend.

On Saturday, Sept. 6, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) stated their deputies responded to a swimming space off Big Bend Road for a reported taking pictures. According to witnesses, a juvenile suspect allegedly brandished and fired a firearm throughout an altercation, pointing the weapon at a number of folks and firing a number of photographs.

Evidence collected by deputies and BCSO detectives led to the identification of the juvenile concerned within the incident.

On Monday, Sept. 8, in coordination with the Paradise Police Department (PPD), the juvenile suspect was attending a faculty inside the PPD’s jurisdiction. Paradise High School was positioned on lockdown till the coed’s arrest was made. Police detained the juvenile, who was then taken into custody by BCSO deputies.

The BCSO stated the juvenile suspect has been booked into the Butte County Juvenile Hall on expenses of assault with a firearm, negligent discharge of a firearm and felony threats. That identical night time, BCSO stated their detectives executed a search warrant on the juvenile’s residence in Chico.
