Oakland Swim and Dive Tops the Charts within the #HLSD Preseason Poll

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – On Thursday, the Horizon League revealed their 2025-26 Under Armor #HLSD Preseason Poll, with Oakland claiming the first-place spots for each males’s and ladies’s swimming and diving as soon as once more.

As returning Horizon League Champions, the groups intention to increase their historic streak this season. Both squads have gained the Horizon League convention since their induction, extending their run to 12 consecutive titles. Currently, the swimming and diving workforce has a report of 47 consecutive convention championships for the lads, whereas the ladies’s workforce has gained 31 in a row.

In this 12 months’s preseason ballot, the lads’s workforce secured 5 of the seven first-place votes for a complete of 47 factors, whereas the ladies obtained all seven first-place votes for 49 factors.

Oakland plans to increase their historic championship run because the groups dive into their season on the Black and Gold Intrasquad meet on Sept. 26 on the Oakland Aquatic Center, adopted by their first competitors in opposition to Youngstown State on Oct. 3-4 on the Beeghly Natatorium.
