Focusing on the Houthis’ Illicit Commerce and Delivery Facilitators

Yesterday, the United States designated 11 people and 21 entities and recognized 4 vessels as blocked property for involvement within the Iran-backed Houthis’ world illicit fundraising, smuggling, and weapons procurement operations. These embrace key Houthi operatives and affiliated corporations concerned within the group’s fraudulent asset seizures and Houthi-associated actors situated throughout Yemen, China, the UAE, and the Marshall Islands.

The United States will proceed to make use of the instruments at our disposal to remove the threats posed by the Houthis.
