MILWAUKEE — Marquette University alumnus Rev. George Drance, S.J., will current “The Gospel of Mark in Performance,” a solo present telling the story of Mark’s Gospel, with two performances on the Evan and Marion P. Helfaer Theatre, 1304 W. Clybourn St., Sept. 18-19. Each day’s efficiency will likely be held at 4:30 p.m.

“The Gospel of Mark in Performance” seeks to reclaim the unique energy and urgency of this message, by telling the story because the early Christians may need advised it — in underground conferences operating from the empire’s forces.

With music composed by Elizabeth Swados, the tales of the Gospel span time and house to deliver a up to date viewers again into the spirit of this historic textual content. Drance initially carried out this in 2014 on the world well-known La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club.

The performances are sponsored by the Marquette Jesuit group, free and open to the general public.
