Can Uzun: “I’ve always played football: with my dad; with my friends, even with my mum. Football was always my life. I realised quite early I was one of the better players and maybe I could achieve something, so my goal was always to become a professional player.”

Can Uzun: “I would say my dad. I always trained with him and he was my connection to the game. He was also a coach – not at professional level – but he knows his stuff. As a little kid I worked on my technique with him, I think that’s why it’s so good now.”
