Concrete in Life international pictures competitors launches

Global Cement and Concrete Association launches seventh version of fashionable annual photographic competitors

THIS 12 months’s Concrete in Life, a well-liked international pictures competitors which celebrates the important position of concrete internationally, has been formally launched. Now in its seventh 12 months, the competitors which receives tens of hundreds of entries yearly from each nook of the world, highlights the sustainability, versatility, magnificence and sturdy presence of the world’s most used materials after water.

Run by the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), the competitors is open to everybody – professionals, amateurs, or anybody with a wise telephone, and entry to the competitors is free.

 

Contestants can have an opportunity to win the crown with a prime prize of US$10,000 prize cash for Best Overall Concrete in Life picture, whereas every class winner will obtain US$2,500.

Thomas Guillot, GCCA chief govt and one of many competitors judges, stated: ‘Concrete is essential to our lives, building our roads, bridges, houses and the cities we live in. Its innate properties of strength and versatility have led it to create some of the best and most beautiful architecture and infrastructure of our time. Our Concrete in Life photography competition gives people the chance to capture the beauty of concrete and show what it means to them.’

Contestants are invited to submit their photos by posting them on their Instagram social media accounts and tagging the competitors #ConcretInLife2526 and one of many following classes:

• #CityConcrete – pictures of metropolis landscapes and buildings, each well-known and hidden away

• #ConcreteInfrastructure – infrastructure in cities and rural, above and beneath floor

• #ConcreteInDailyLife – the human aspect of concrete and the way it’s used and interacted with each day

• #ConcreteBeautyAndDesign – the fantastic thing about concrete, displaying how it’s utilized in a very placing visible manner, whether or not at a big or small scale.
