The City of West Kelowna is inviting residents to participate in Culture Days, a nationwide celebration supporting native arts and tradition.

From Sept. 19 to Oct. 12, 2025, a variety of occasions designed to interact the group and promote accessible arts experiences are going down in West Kelowna.

Culture Days is a part of a much bigger initiative for the City of West Kelowna’s Recreation and Culture Department, who present year-round programming for residents of all ages.

Discover these Culture Days occasions and packages all through our group:

Blacksmithing Demonstration on the Westbank Museum – Saturday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Come by the Westbank Museum at 2376 Dobbin Road for a blacksmithing demonstration with native blacksmith Brayden Cridland. Whether you wish to be taught extra about blacksmithing otherwise you simply wish to see Brayden make some cool gadgets, that is the occasion for you. Admission is free, and go to the museum afterwards. 

Fall Fair at Paynter’s Fruit Market – Saturday, Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Join us for a day full of fall enjoyable for all ages at Paynter’s Fruit Market at 3687 Paynter Road. Enjoy the mini-market, seize a scrumptious chunk from a meals truck, snap some seasonal pics within the pumpkin patch, get artistic with pumpkin portray, and cheer in your favourites within the scarecrow constructing contest from 2 to three:30 p.m.! Parking is restricted so please bike, stroll, or carpool, if attainable. Paynter’s is a working farm: look ahead to uneven floor, tractors, and different hazards. Closed-toe footwear are beneficial. 

Sculpture Making & Painting – Friday, Sept. 26 and Friday, Oct. 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.  

Join program chief Elizabeth for a enjoyable, hands-on artwork expertise the place contributors will sculpt distinctive creations with air-dry clay and produce them to life with vibrant acrylic paint. STEM Workshop at Westbank Museum – Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Come to the Westbank Museum at 2376 Dobbin Road for a free science, know-how, engineering and math (STEM) workshop with Westcoast Women in Engineering, Science and Technology (WWEST). This is an inter-generational, drop-in format workshop, appropriate for all ages to take part and have interaction in hands-on STEM actions.
