forty ninth Annual East Poultry Festival Open Photography Show

September 17, 2025 (Photography Show Rules and Regulations) – The forty ninth Annual East Poultry Festival Open Photography Show will probably be held within the First Baptist Church Family Life Center fitness center, October 2-4th.

According to occasion Chairman and coordinator, Billie Jones, pictures entries will probably be accepted at First United Methodist Church (basement), 211 Porter Street, Saturday, September twentieth from 9am to 12 midday. Photography Show entry kinds and guidelines could also be picked up at Blake Furniture or at the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce workplace situated within the previous jail contained in the Historic Courthouse Square from 9am till 4pm, Monday – Thursday and 9am till 4pm on Friday or could also be discovered at www.shelbycountychamber.com. 

Photography Show Categories embody Fine Art, Scenic, Urban, People, Animals, Digital Manipulation, Flowers and Themed (particularly/primarily poultry). The age teams are Children 12 & below; Youth 13-18 and Adults 19 & over. The rule packets give further data relating to the classes and courses.

Entry charges are $3.00 per entry. There will probably be a panel of judges selecting 1st, 2nd, third, and Honorable Mention in every class, and Best of Show for adults, youth and youngsters and People’s Choice Award.

The following particular awards may also be given: PWPS Award; Janet Windham Hughes Memorial panorama Award; and Donna Warren Holt Memorial Flower Award.

Photo Pickup will probably be at First Baptist Church Family Life Center, 117 Cora St, Center, between 3pm – 4pm. Any pictures not picked up by Friday, October 10, could also be discarded with out prior preparations.
