Saint Francis Girls’s Swimming Picked Fourth In 2025 NEC Preseason Poll

Loretto, Pa. – The Saint Francis University girls’s swimming workforce has been picked to complete fourth within the 2025 Northeast Conference (NEC) preseason ballot, as voted on by league coaches and representatives. The Red Flash enter the brand new season seeking to construct on a profitable 2024 marketing campaign, which noticed them end third within the NEC standings.

The 2025–26 schedule, introduced by head coach Phil Hurley, options a mixture of twin meets, aggressive invitationals, and concludes with the Northeast Conference Championship. 

“The schedule has a nice balance to it,” Hurley mentioned. “We open with invitationals that set the tone, then mix in dual meets where we can really focus on one or two races at a time. Our midseason meet will be an opportunity to be well rested and swim super fast, and then we close with conference championships in the third week of February. This lineup sets our athletes up for success.” 

The Red Flash open the season on the Colgate Invite on October 10–11, adopted by a highway twin at Millersville on October 18. Per week later, Saint Francis competes in a tri-meet towards LIU and Manhattan on October 25. The program’s lone house meet of the autumn takes place on November 7 when the Red Flash host Lock Haven at Stokes Natatorium, earlier than wrapping up the autumn schedule on the Liberty Invite from November 21–23. 

After the winter coaching block, Saint Francis returns to competitors on January 17 with a quad meet at VMI alongside Howard and American, adopted by the Western Pennsylvania Invite hosted by Carnegie Mellon on January 23–24. The season will culminate with the NEC Championships from February 17–20 on the SPIRE Aquatics Center in Geneva, Ohio.
