Ten American Officers Chosen to Work 2026 Olympic Winter Games

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Ten American officers have been chosen by the International Ice Hockey Federation to officiate the ladies’s and males’s hockey tournaments on the 2026 Olympic Winter Games. 

Kelly Cooke (Boston, Mass.), Melissa Doyle (White Bear Lake, Minn.), Samantha Hiller(Boulder, Colo.) and Amanda Tassoni (Smithfield, R.I.) will function referees within the girls’s match, whereas Sarah Buckner (Duluth, Minn.), Jennifer Cameron-Ward (Hollywood, Fla.) and Kirsten Welsh (Pittsburgh, Pa.) will function linespersons. 

Sean MacFarlane (Spokane, Wash.) will signify the U.S. as a referee on the males’s match with Nick Briganti (Meriden, Ct.) and Jake Davis (Wyandotte, Mich.) serving as linesmen. 

The males’s match will even make the most of NHL officers and people chosen are anticipated to be introduced in January. 

The IIHF additionally chosen Stacey Livingston (Utica, N.Y.) and Melissa Szkola (St. Clair Shores, Mich.) as officiating coaches. 

The 2026 Olympic Winter Games will happen February 4-22 in Milan and Cortina, Italy, with the ladies’s hockey match happening February 5-19, and the lads’s match operating from February 11-22.
