Jacksonville organizers journey to Baker County immigration detention heart to protest

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – Jacksonville organizations on Saturday traveled to the Baker County immigration heart to protest.

The Jacksonville Immigrant Rights Alliance and different organizations began their protest in Life Ev’re Voice and Sing Park. A handful of audio system talked about eager to do away with the immigration detention facilities within the state.

Vanessa Cullins Hopkins was among the many protesters. It was her first time at one and he or she mentioned she needed to assist the trigger.

“We want to protect our brothers and sisters who need compassion, dignity, and respect,” Cullins-Hopkins mentioned.
