Males’s Tennis advances three in ITA All-American Championships prequalifying

Tulsa, Okla. – Texas Men’s Tennis superior three in prequalifying singles on the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa on Saturday.

All three gained in straight units, together with sophomore Evan Burnett over 21 seed Vit Kalina of Alabama, 7-6 (2), 6-2, and freshmen 21 seed Mariano Dedura-Palomero, who defeated Karim Al-Amin of Middle Tennessee, 7-5, 6-4, together with 17 seed Lucas Marionneau, who downed Kornel Halmos of Dartmouth, 6-3, 6-2.

The trio will play Sunday morning with the chance to advance to a second match on Sunday that will transfer them on to the qualifying rounds.
