Ryan Sprague | Affiliate Strength & Conditioning Coach | Women’s Swim & Dive Assist Workers

Ryan Sprague joined The Ohio State University in July 2019 because the power and conditioning coach for the Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving program. Since becoming a member of the Buckeyes the Women’s Swimming and Diving crew has received 4 consecutive B1G Championship titles (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) and has positioned top-10 nationally three years in a row (2021, 2022, 2023) with a program finest end of sixth place in 2023. Sprague has additionally helped the Men’s Swimming and Diving crew place top-10 nationally in back-to-back seasons (2021 and 2022), ending seventh and ninth, and reaching 4 consecutive top-3 finishes within the B1G. 

Prior to becoming a member of The Ohio State University, Sprague served as an assistant power and conditioning coach for The University of Pittsburgh, the place he oversaw the event and implementation of power and conditioning applications for Men’s and Women’s Swimming, Softball, and Men’s and Women’s Track (sprinters and hurdlers). 

Before his time at Pitt, Sprague accomplished his Master’s in Exercise Science – Strength and Conditioning diploma at The George Washington University.
