Dukes Announce Schedule for First Yr in American Conference

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison swim & dive Head Coach Dane Pedersen introduced the schedule for the 2025-26 season on Wednesday morning, the primary for this system within the American Conference.

“Excited how our schedule finally came together,” stated Pedersen. “A few different opponents and a new midseason invite with both swimming and diving together are really exciting. Of course, we’re also excited to see what our first season in the American Conference brings in February.”

The Dukes start the season in Philadelphia on Oct. 18, after they journey to La Salle for a tri-meet with the Explorers and Drexel. JMU then returns dwelling for the primary of two twin meets inside Savage Natatorium, internet hosting Marshall on Nov. 1 and Navy on Jan. 24. The Dukes will compete in a further three twin meets on the highway, touring to Towson (Dec. 18), Villanova (Jan. 17) and Richmond (Jan. 23).

Prior to internet hosting Navy in January, the Dukes will conclude the autumn portion of their schedule in Annapolis on the Navy Invitational on Nov. 20-22. Both swimmers and divers for JMU will compete on the invite.

After the Navy twin meet, the crew will break up up earlier than convening for the American Championships. The swimmers will head to the Cavalier Invitational, hosted by Virginia, on Feb. 5-7, whereas the divers head additional all the way down to Blacksburg for the Virginia Tech Invitational on Feb. 6-8.

The American Championships will happen in Greensboro, N.C. on the Greensboro Aquatics Center from Feb. 18-21. Nine days later, the swimmers will compete at a to be decided location within the ECAC Championships on Feb. 27-March 1. Qualified divers will then head to the U.S. Naval Academy for the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on March 10-12.
