Liberty Picked 2nd In American Conference Swimming & Diving Preseason Poll

Liberty was voted second within the American Conference Swimming & Diving Preseason Poll, introduced at this time by league officers.

The ballot was voted upon by all 9 American Conference swimming & diving head coaches.

Liberty joined the American Conference as an affiliate member in swimming & diving on July 1, together with James Madison and Marshall.

Defending American champion Rice was picked because the preseason favourite, receiving 59 factors and 5 first-place votes. Liberty is second with 57 factors and two first-place votes, whereas FIU is third with 54 factors and two first-place votes. Tulane (35) and James Madison (34) had been voted fourth and fifth, respectively, whereas East Carolina and Marshall tied for sixth with 28 factors every. FAU (15) and North Texas (14) spherical out the ballot.
