Cross Nation Heads to Mizzou for Gans Creek Classic

The Syracuse cross nation groups return from per week hiatus and can compete on the Gans Creek Classic at Mizzou on Friday.

MEET PREVIEW:

This is the primary main check of the season for the Orange cross nation squads, with 40 of the 64 groups that may race within the Gold Championship Race on Friday represented within the nationwide polls this week.

The ladies’s area options 16 groups who’re ranked or receiving votes on this week’s USTFCCCA Poll, together with No. 2 Oregon, No. 5 Stanford, No. 6 Alabama, No. 8 Northern Arizona, No. 12 Florida, No. 16 Michigan State, No. 18 Virginia, No. 22 Utah, No. 24 Lipscomb, No. 26 Colorado and No. 27 Iowa State, plus Syracuse, Wake Forest, Tennessee, Tulane, and Washington State, who’re all receiving votes.

The males’s area options much more, with 18 ranked squads and 6 extra receiving votes within the 32 workforce Gold Race area. MEET HISTORY:

This is Syracuse’s first time competing on the occasion. The Gans Creek Course opened in 2019, however the Orange will race twice right here this season because the NCAA Championships will probably be hosted by Mizzou in November.
