ARLINGTON, Va. – The Cedar Crest College swimming crew opened the 2025-26 season with a 196-45 loss to Marymount University in an Atlantic East Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon on the Lee Center Pool.

The crew of first-year Maria Aragon (Albuquerque, N.M./Rio Grande), junior Rylie Heusner (Scranton, Pa./Holy Cross), first-year Nyasia Fernandez (Allentown, Pa./William Allen), and sophomore Madison Nadasi (Bushkill, Pa./East Stroudsburg North) took second within the 200-yard medley relay, clocking a time of two:24.10.

Fernandez and Krillhe Gonell Cruz () competed within the 100-yard IM, touching third and fourth respectively. Fernandez registered a time of 1:31.60 whereas Gonell Cruz touched in 1:37.73.
