DALLAS (SMU) – Fourteen Mustangs have been named recipients of the 2025 1A FAR Academic Excellence Award. This award acknowledges these excellent student-athletes for his or her important accomplishments within the classroom whereas competing on the highest stage of faculty sports activities.
The Award is given yearly to student-athletes who graduate with a cumulative GPA of three.80 or above and have participated in at the least two years of NCAA intercollegiate athletics at a Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) establishment.
