Huge interstellar 3I/Atlas comet is about to vanish from Earth’s view

The NASA-funded ATLAS survey telescope in Chile first noticed the comet on July 1, and since its discovery, astronomers have been busy learning this thriller object. 

According to NASA, 3I/ATLAS will stay seen to ground-based observatories till the tip of September. After that, it is going to be too near the Sun to watch. After it disappears behind the glare of the Sun, it would reappear in early December for extra ground-based observations.

The comet is predicted to make its closest cross of the Sun on Oct. 30, at a distance of about 130 million miles, contained in the orbit of Mars.

While 3I/Atlas is out of view from Earth, NASA and different companions, just like the European Space Agency (ESA), are utilizing spacecraft to trace the comet.
