KADEM awards winners of ‘Women and Family’ images contest

The Women and Democracy Association (KADEM) introduced awards to the winners of its “Women and Family” themed images contest, organized as a part of the 2025 Year of Family on Friday in Istanbul.

The contest, aimed toward highlighting girls’s labor and transformative function inside the household via artwork, attracted 865 individuals submitting a complete of two,023 images.

The ceremony started with a promotional movie ready by KADEM. During the occasion, KADEM Board Chair Canan Sarı condemned Israel’s assault on the Global Sumud Flotilla, which was delivering support to Gaza. Awards have been introduced to the profitable photographers, and the chosen works have been displayed at Kazlıçeşme Sanat for guests.
