Student Travel Support | Three Rivers AHEC

Three Rivers AHEC journey help is obtainable to college students finishing community-based medical rotations away from their major campus; 

provided that AHEC housing will not be being utilized.

Who is eligible for AHEC Travel Support:

​​

• Must be from a Georgia program or be a Georgia scholar returning to the state for rotations

• Rotation web site have to be throughout the Three Rivers AHEC area

• Travel distance have to be 25+ miles from both:

  • Campus location, or

  • Current house deal with

• Rotation have to be a least 8 sequential days;

  • 8-19 days: $50 stipend 

  • 20+ days: $100 stipend

How to Apply for AHEC Travel Support:

1. Complete the Online Student Profile Registration 

• Under AHEC Clinical Training Support Services

  • Please choose the AHEC Center you might be requesting help: Three Rivers

  • Please choose the Clinical Training assist service: Travel Support

2. Complete and Sign AHEC Travel Stipend Policy
