Swimming opens 2025-26 season at IU Indy Double Dual

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine University males’s and girls’s swimming groups will formally open their 2025-26 season this weekend, touring to Indianapolis, IN for the IU Indy Double Dual on the IU Natatorium.

Action within the pool is ready to start at 11 am E.T. Bellarmine will be a part of host IU Indy in addition to Bowling Green State University, St. Louis, Xavier and Butler within the competitors.

The Knights are led by head coach Gord Veldman who enters his third yr on the helm of this system. In addition to Veldman, assistant coach Grace McCormick is again for her fifth season as an assistant. Veldman added to his employees this season, bringing in two former Knights in Sam Russell as a graduate assistant and Jacob Dray as a volunteer assistant coach.

On the boys’s facet, seniors Liam Connelly, Cason Henderson, Caleb Howard, Sam Jones, Anthony Nasrallah, Jack Proctor and Drew Wolfram, juniors Brady Campbell, Evan Dickson, Colin Jackson, Evan Jones, Reece Pennington and Britton Pianki and sophomores David Diercks and Logan Lacombe all return for an additional yr of competitors. The roster options six newcomers in freshman Yael Bojalil, Cooper Burke, Ahmet Efe Inceoglu, João Kirchgässner, Zach May and Carter Souliere.

For the ladies, seniors Erin Dall-Agnol, Lauren Diercks and Lauren Peters, juniors Coral Brogan, Molly Bryan, Charlotte Tully and Lily Wolfe and sophomores Lily Epley, Micaela Godfrey, Ava Jones, Annie Leibold, Clara McIntyre, Kate Ryan and Lizzy Sosa are all again. The roster is rounded out with three freshman newcomers in Ava Dyer, Lilly Stiff and Kaja Vaadal.
