Middle and High School Students are invited to join this free workshop on images and identification with photographers M. Earl Williams and Lucy Capehart. Students will study to precise their identification by Polaroid portraits that embrace private objects.
Students are requested to deliver an object or objects of private significance to them. Please deliver a private merchandise, piece of clothes, or souvenir that has private that means to you. All different provides will probably be offered.
There will probably be three of those courses all through the run of the exhibition, so in the event you can’t attend the December 6 workshop, try the one on October 25 or November 22.

About the Teachers
M. Earl Williams is an artist, educator, and enrolled tribal member of The Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon. His work is proven internationally, with latest cities together with Rome, Los Angeles, Berlin, Chicago, New York, Denver, Portland, and Phoenix. Currently he resides in his ancestral homelands, the Oregon Willamette Valley, the place he’s the Multimedia Specialist for the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde.
Lucy Capehart has been a museum skilled for over 25 years. She is presently Director of Collections and Exhibitions on the Japanese American Museum of Oregon. She can be a practising artist whose pictures have been exhibited nationwide and are within the collections of The Portland Art Museum, The Center for Creative Photography and the Navajo Nation Museum.
