Stop ruining Honolulu. My favourite place as a child was a Korean restaurant situated downtown. Countless meals, phrases and laughs had been shared there with family and friends for birthday celebrations, reunions and extra. A pair years in the past, information got here that it was being closed indefinitely. Why? To make house for one more high-rise constructing, overcrowding the restricted house we have now left.
We’ve needed to endure years of highway closures, sewage and clogged visitors only for one other apartment to be positioned and acquired up by individuals who go away it vacant for months, individuals with neither love nor connection to this particular place. It appears day by day, one thing new is being constructed. Enough of this, sufficient constructing, sufficient ruining this island. Look round and notice we should cease now earlier than it’s too late.
