The NMU ‘B’ crew of Garin-Coupillaud, Rosatelli, Rocheleau, and Massotte claimed third with their time of 1:25.88. 

Garin-Coupillaud claimed gold within the 500 free together with his scorching time of 4:36.22, beating teammate Billotte and the remainder of the sector by 10 seconds. Billotte claimed second place at 4:46.20, and Fulconi completed fourth at 4:49.71.
