Males’s Tennis Continues Motion in Big West Fall Invite

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.—Members of the University of Hawai’i males’s tennis staff continued to compete on the Big West Fall Invite on Friday on the Arnnhold Tennis Center. Senior Azuma Visaya stayed alive within the singles essential draw combating his means again for a 3 set singles win.
 
Visaya, who’s ranked No. 65 within the Intercollegiate Tennis Association(ITA) fell by only a break within the first set in opposition to Cal Poly’s Raz Haviv. But Visaya rallied again to win the ultimate two units, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3. The win by Visaya propels him into the semifinals on Saturday.
 
In comfort matches, each Timothy Li and Kent Mueller each notched their first victories as Rainbow Warriors. Li cruised to a straight-set win over Cal Poly’s Sean Kamyshev, 6-2, 6-2, whereas Mueller was main 5-3 within the first set when his opponent, Rui Ning Huang of UC Irvine, withdrew as a result of harm.
