Man rescued from Lake Michigan after drifting away from seaside on swimming tube

RACINE, Wis. — A 37-year-old man was rescued from Lake Michigan Friday night time after drifting away from North Beach in Racine on a swimming tube.

The Racine Fire Department and Racine County Sheriff Dive Team had been referred to as to the seaside round 6:40 p.m. Friday after the person had been out of sight of his get together for roughly half-hour.

Authorities mentioned they used thermal imaging cameras, jet skis and different watercraft as a part of their search technique.

Within about an hour, dive staff members on the jet skis positioned the person floating a few mile north of the seaside and almost a mile out from shore. He was affected by dehydration, exhaustion and was chilly. He said the present pulled him out round 3:30 p.m., the place he was unable to swim again in opposition to the present and drifted north. With no cellphone or different gadgets, he was unable to name or sign for assist.
