Rosanna’s Readers “Fun Run” at Blue Hill college raises $10,000 at no cost books

BLUE HILL, Maine (WABI) – Kids at Blue Hill Consolidated School ran laps on Friday for a particular trigger – to ensure each child on the peninsula will get a free ebook on their birthday.

“It was really cool to see everyone passing you, and knowing you’re a part of something,” stated eighth grader Joseph Conlon.

“I think it’s like honorable, to be able to raise money for everyone and not just ourselves to get a book, and it’s really cool what the school is doing,” says seventh grader Liliana Talbot.
