Desktop DIY/Gaming Setups thread – Framework Desktop

Per the most recent weblog put up about eager to see setups, I’m making a thread to point out off Gaming/DIY setups. 1 NVME Samsung 980 Pro (in Wifi E-Key slot with Adapter)
2 NVME Lexar NM790 in RAID 0

Warning: my setup is just not at present supported and for those who attempt to duplicate it, you should have points. (Mainly with the graphics card)

(Moved to the storage at this time and took off the facet panels as a result of it’s good out)

What are you utilizing to attach the 5080 to the motherboard? I can simply see a bit of little bit of kapton peeking out underneath the video card in that third pic.

What points did you encounter, and the way did you overcome them?

While my setup works (largely) I believe if you’re eager to spend cash on a desktop and wish to use a graphics card along with your desktop, you need to wait till framework comes out with extra compatibility info or an official assertion. I’ve achieved an honest quantity of analysis to get the place I’m at and graphics card on fw desktop simply isn’t manufacturing prepared.
