LEXINGTON, Va. – The Randolph girls’s swimming crew opened the 2025-26 season the annual ODAC Relays hosted Washington and Lee University. The meet consists of ODAC colleges and the groups compete in solely relay occasions. The crew completed seventh over with a complete rating of 47 factors.

Katelyn Spuchesi, Katya Zaitsev, Taylor Eshelman, and Rio Bucy of the A crew completed ninth general in 100 Yard Relay in 51.49 seconds. The B squad completed in seventeenth with a 56.95, consisting of Alaura Arringdale, Reaghan Quinn, Taylor Kitts, and Maddie Dyl.

In the 3×50 Yard Fly Relay, the A crew completed tenth, Spuchesi, Eshelman, and Kaitlyn Heckman, with a time of 1:30.28.

For the 3×50 Yard Back Relay, the crew completed 14th in 1:40.71 consisting of Heckman, Bucy, and Reaghan Quinn. In the 3×50 Yard Breast Relay, Arringdale, Quinn, and Dyl completed 14th in 2:00.29.

The 400 Yard Free Relay noticed Heckman, Bucy, Arringdale, and Zaitsev swim a 4:21.24 for sixteenth general.

Spuchesi, Eshelman, and Bucy made up the 3×100 Yard IM Relay and swam a time of three:31.60 for eleventh. The 500 Yard Relay crew of Eshelman, Heckman, Bucy, and Spuchesi swam a 5:22.64 for twelfth place. The 200 Yard Medley Relay squad of Heckman, Eshelman, Spuchesi, and Zaitsev got here in fifteenth with a 2:09.11.

Quinn, Zaitsev, Dyl, and Kitts got here in 14th within the 100 Yard Relay underwater fly kick, every swimmer doing a butterfly kick underwater. Their time was 1:18.89.

In the 200 Yard Free Relay, the crew completed 14th. Zaitsev, Quinn, Arringdale, and Kitts completed with a time of 1:18.89. 

The crew returns house for his or her house opener on Saturday at 1 p.m. They will face William Peace, Hollins, and Gallaudet.
