Legend’s daring imaginative and prescient for NBA video games in Australia

NBA legend Ray Allen believes the present historic Melbourne Series ‘might be’ the beginning of extra video games coming to Australian shores.

During an interview with CODE Sports, the twin NBA champion and 10 time All-Star, who was final in Australian for the 2020 Sydney Olympics, said his daring imaginative and prescient for the worldwide sport and threw his assist behind an everyday season NBA sport coming down beneath.

“Everybody will say what can’t be done,” Allen mentioned to CODE Sports. “You know, look at an airplane in the sky, 
how does that happen?

“But somebody has to wear the dream to say, ‘this is possible.’

“We’re (NBA) so adjustable and we can figure it out.

“It is just logistics. You’re talking about being on different soil, you’re talking about so many great players in teams all over the world and being able to play NBA games on their soil, it can be done.”

Echoing Allen’s ideas had been NBL legend and two-time Olympian Chris Anstey, throughout Friday’s episode of NBL Now.

“I really hope [with the way the event has been embraced] this will become an annual event, where we do get a different NBA team on ours shores each year,” former Dallas Maverick and Chicago Bull Anstey mentioned.

“I think the NBA itself sees value, no only in the on-court, but also the off-court growth of some young players in experiencing a different culture – it’s a win-win.”

The NBAxNBL Melbourne Series continues on Syunday, with the New Orleans Pelicans’ conflict with the South East Melbourne Phoenix, dwell on Prime Video and 10 from 2pm AEDT.
