The Siena Awards Photo Festival has introduced its total winner, awarding its high prize to Palestinian photojournalist Ali Jadallah.

His picture, known as Leaving Home, exhibits three folks rising from the rubble of their dwelling, which was badly broken in an assault.

He took it on June 14, 2024 in Deir al-Balah, within the Gaza Strip.

“The image returns with extreme visual force the violence of destruction and, at the same time, the stubborn presence of human dignity,” a Siena Awards assertion mentioned.
