Go to to Australia by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will welcome the Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, Lawrence Wong, to Australia from 6 to 9 October 2025.

This will likely be Prime Minister Wong’s first official go to to Australia since taking workplace, and coincides with 60 years of diplomatic relations between Australia and Singapore.

Australia and Singapore have a deep and longstanding relationship, underpinned by robust financial ties, strategic belief and a detailed defence partnership.

Prime Minister Albanese and Prime Minister Wong will meet at Parliament House on Wednesday 8 October 2025 for the tenth Australia–Singapore Annual Leaders’ Meeting.

Leaders will focus on deepening cooperation underneath the following section of the Australia–Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

This go to would be the fourth time the leaders have met. Prime Minister Albanese final met with Prime Minister Wong in May this 12 months in Singapore.
