Text description supplied by the architects. Vertime presents a multifaceted and versatile program: directly a lodge, bar, restaurant, pool, workspace, assembly place, and residing house. More than a venue, it’s a massive villa with a heat, family-oriented spirit. The website’s principal constraint can also be its biggest energy: positioned on the entrance of town on a busy boulevard, it enjoys speedy proximity to the Olonna marina and the Vendée Globe pontoon. The problem was to construct a powerful relationship with the port whereas shielding the undertaking from the boulevard’s nuisances. A landmark constructing, Vertime embodies a brand new and dynamic id whereas remaining rooted within the historical past of seaside structure.
