RICHMOND, Va. – Head coach Matt Barany introduced Richmond’s 2025-2026 swim and dive schedule. The Spiders open the season on the highway on Oct. 17 on the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex in Hampton, Va.
The Spiders will kick off the 2025-26 marketing campaign on the Richmond Duals Oct. 17-18 in Hampton, Va., on the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex. Richmond will compete towards Atlantic 10 opponents, Davidson, Duquesne and George Mason. On Friday, the meet begins at 5 p.m. and on Saturday it begins at 10 a.m.
After almost a three-week break, Richmond will journey to Baltimore, Md., and face Loyola on Nov. 7.
Rounding out November, the Spiders will head to Northern Virginia for the annual Patriot Invite, held Nov. 19-22 on the Aquatic and Fitness Center. Opening night time relays start at 5 p.m., whereas prelims start at 10 a.m., diving at 1 p.m. and finals at 6 p.m. for the next three days.
In December, Richmond travels south to Sarasota, Fla., for its solely meet of the month. The Spiders will compete within the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Open Water Nationals, starting at 10 a.m. on Dec. 13.

Following the A-10 Championships, Spider diving will look to qualify for NCAA Zone Diving scheduled for March 8-11 in Atlanta, Ga.
Select Spiders may even compete on the NIC Championships, hosted by CSCAA in Ocala, Fla., on March 12-14. Prelims start at 9:30 a.m. with finals at 6 p.m.
The championship season concludes with the NCAA Championships, March 18-21 in Atlanta, Ga.
Richmond may even compete on the USA Open Water Nationals in Sarasota, Fla., April 2-4 and host the Alumni Meet April 11 at 10 a.m. on the Robins Center.
