PREVIEW: Owls host Owl-A-Pooluza this weekend

HOUSTON — Rice swimming and diving will host its first house meet of the 2025–26 season this weekend, set for Friday and Saturday on the Rice Competition Pool in Houston.

“We really enjoy competing at home,” head coach Seth Huston stated. “Our team feels comfortable here, and we feed off the energy. It’s the perfect place to start the season with everyone together.”

The two-day meet will characteristic competitors towards Houston and TCU. A full schedule is offered on the backside of this launch.

“I’m looking forward to this week,” Huston stated. “We’ve got Houston and TCU, both Big 12 teams and in-state rivals, so it’s a real test for our team right out of the gate. You want to race teams that challenge you, and they are going to have to rise to the occasion.”
