Seymour, Brignola to Compete at NWCA All-Star Classic

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Two Lehigh wrestlers have been chosen to compete on the 2025 NWCA All-Star Classic, set for Saturday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at Rutgers’ Jersey Mikes Arena. Seniors Sheldon Seymour (125) and Max Brignola (165) have been chosen to compete in two of the ten Division I matchups on the annual exhibition.

Seymour is slated to face Eddie Ventresca of Virginia Tech at 125, whereas Brignola will wrestle towards Stanford’s Hunter Garvin at 165.

A 2025 NCAA All-American, Seymour posted a 22-6 mark final season. He received an EIWA Championship at 125 and reached the NCAA semifinals earlier than ending in sixth place.

Seymour is ranked fifth at 125 in FloWrestling’s newest preseason rankings, whereas Ventresca is available in at No. 4. The All-Star match can be a rematch from final yr’s NCAA fifth place bout, received by Ventresca 11-4.
