Swimming and Diving | Virginia Opens Season at Florida Twin Meet

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia males’s and girls’s swimming and diving groups open the 2025-26 season with a twin meet at Florida on Friday, October 10 on the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Natatorium in Gainsville, Fla.

The meet will function two swimming periods, with the morning session starting at 10 a.m. Gator Diving will compete within the springboard occasions at 12:30 p.m., adopted by the second swimming session at 4 p.m. to shut out the meet.

• The Virginia girls are No. 1 within the newest CSCAA ballot. The males are No. 13
• The Florida girls are No. 6 within the CSCAA ballot. The males are No. 4
• Virginia had an exhibition meet at Navy on Sept. 27 and an intrasquad scrimmage final Saturday (Oct. 4), however that is the primary official meet of the 12 months for the Cavaliers
• The Virginia girls return 9 All-Americans from the 2025 NCAA Champion workforce: Claire Curzan, Katie Grimes, Anna Moesch, Aimee Canny, Leah Hayes, Tess Howley, Cavan Gormsen, Emma Weber and Charlotte Wilson
