This Week in ACC Swimming & Diving

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Week three of the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming & Diving season begins this weekend, October 10-11, as California, Miami, Notre Dame and Virginia hit the water for the primary time this 12 months.
 
California will journey to San Diego, California, to tackle convention foe Stanford, Hawai’I and UC San Diego on Friday. The ACC had seven groups within the CSCAA Division I Women’s Preseason Top 25 Poll, headlined by Virginia within the No. 1 spot, Stanford at No. 3 and California at No. 5. In the  CSCAA Division I Men’s Preseason Top 25 Poll, the league featured 9 groups with California main the best way at No. 4.

• The ACC had seven groups named to the CSCAA Division I Women’s Preseason Top 25 Poll, headlined by Virginia at No. 1. Stanford (No. 3), California (No. 4), Louisville (No. 7), NC State (No. 8), North Carolina (No.14) and Duke (No. 19) helped fill out the Top 25.
• The ACC had 9 groups named to the CSCAA Division I Men’s Preseason Top 25 Poll, headlined by California at No. 4. NC State (No. 7), Stanford (No.8), Louisville (No. 12), Virginia (No. 13), Virginia Tech (No. 17), Florida State (No. 18), North Carolina (No. 19) and Notre Dame (No. 25) helped fill out the Top 25.
• Notre Dame enters the 2025 season underneath the brand new management of Head Swimming and Diving Coach Michael Norment.
• The Stanford girls’s swimming & diving program enters the 2025 season underneath the brand new management of Paul A. Violich Director of Women’s Swimming Chris Lindauer, former Notre Dame head coach.
