The first stage of SpaceX’s Starship megarocket has made it to the launch pad forward of subsequent week’s check flight.
On Wednesday (Oct. 8), SpaceX posted photos on X exhibiting the enormous booster, often known as Super Heavy, making the transfer to the orbital launch mount on the firm’s Starbase website in South Texas.

Starship is the largest and strongest rocket ever constructed. The present iteration stands about 400 toes (121 meters) tall, and future variations can be larger nonetheless, in response to firm founder and CEO Elon Musk.

Ship, meanwhile, will deploy eight payloads into space on Flight 11 — dummy versions of SpaceX’s Starlink internet satellites — and wrap things up by splashing down in the Indian Ocean.
