FGCU in lead after day certainly one of Eagle Invitational

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Gulf Coast swimming and diving workforce kicked off the Eagle Invitational on Friday afternoon from the FGCU Aquatics Complex, internet hosting the University of Miami and the University of Tampa. At the conclusion of day one, the Eagles sit on the high of the leaderboard with 718.25 factors.

DAY ONE RESULTS

• The group of Izzy Ackley, Leah Gentry-Tuney, Nadia Helm, and Mia Burke positioned second within the 200 free relay with a time of 1:33.26.
• In the 200 IM, Cassie Bauer secured first with a time of two:01.79. Jordan Durocher took third with a time of two:04.84.
• Gentry-Tuney touched first within the 50 free with a time of 23.34.
• With a time of three:41.23, the group of Ackley, Bauer, Olivia Vecchio, and Gentry-Tuney was victorious within the 400 medley relay.
• In the 3m dive, Alexandra Andueza positioned first with a rating of 316.20, Rylie Darkatsh positioned second with a rating of 229.83, and Bella Pfeil completed third with a rating of 221.43.

The Eagles are again in motion tomorrow, October eleventh, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. for day two of the Eagle Invitational.
