Swim and Dive Put together for First Dwelling-Meet of the 12 months Versus VMI

EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 10, 2025) – Mount St. Mary’s males’s and ladies’s swimming and diving put together for his or her first of two residence dual-meets of the 2025-26 season on Saturday towards the Virginia Military Institute. After the groups scored a mix 608 factors on the Patriot Relays on September 26, swim and dive will look to get on the proper footing towards the Keydets on the eve of their fall schedule.
 
MOUNT UPDATE
 
At the Patriot Relays, hosted by American University on September 26, the Mountaineers amassed over 600 factors in relay matchups, with the ladies ending in fifth place with 316 factors and the lads ending in sixth place with 292 factors.
 
In the ladies’s 200 yard medley relay occasion, the group of Hanna Aggen, Christina Lazari, Theodora Kanellopoulou, and Madison Murphy logged a time of 1:47.09, putting fifth amongst the sphere. The group of Emily Myers, Giselle Yanes, and Lazari positioned third within the girls’s 3×100 Yard Breastroke Relay with a time of three:24.31. And the group of Kanellopoulou, Murphy, Emily Myers, and Lauren Wetzel positioned third within the 400-Yard Medley Relay with a time of 4:10.14.

SCOUTING THE KEYDETS
 
The Virginia Military Institute visited the United States Military Academy, West Point on October 3, with the ladies’s group shedding 172-33 and the lads’s group shedding 148-57.
 
ALL-TIME RECORD
 
The Mountaineers and the Keydets have met 10 instances on the lads’s aspect of twin meets, with VMI holding an 8-2 file over the Mount courting again to 2016. Mount St. Mary’s girls’s swimming and diving maintain a 20-0 file towards VMI, with the streak extending all the best way again to 2006.
