Gallaudet ladies’s swimming dives into new season at Randolph

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Gallaudet University ladies’s swimming program started the 2025-26 season right here Saturday at Randolph College in a quad meet.

Gallaudet competed in 9 of the 11 occasions and narrowly misplaced 72-69 to William Peace University. The Bison got here up brief in opposition to Hollins University, 110-53, and misplaced to the host WildCats, 142-34.

Sophomore Alecia Miller (Litchfield, Ill.) positioned fifth within the 100 breaststroke (2:19.84) and sixth within the 1,650 freestyle (31:28.07).

First 12 months Jasmine Jimenez Lara (Gilroy, Calif.), one other member of the Bison ladies’s triathlon crew, completed fifth within the 500 freestyle (9:39.31) and seventh within the 200 freestyle (3:32.50).

The quartet of Patton, first 12 months Alma Robinson (Austin, Texas), Jimenez Lara and Miller completed fourth within the 200 freestyle relay with a time of two:41.00.

• First 12 months Mary Figueroa (Moreno Valley, Calif.) was seventh within the 100 freestyle (1:41.93) and eleventh within the 50 freestyle (44.62)
• Robinson completed eighth within the 100 backstroke (1:44.74) and tenth within the 50 freestyle (39.00)
• First 12 months Lia Rojas was eighth within the 100 freestyle (2:05.07) and thirteenth within the 50 freestyle (50.75)
• First 12 months Youstina Alesha (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) positioned ninth within the 100 backstroke (2:10.75) and twelfth within the 50 freestyle (46.56)
