Holy Cross drops season opener to Boston University

WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior Courtney Boghosian and sophomore Addie Jenk each had first-place finishes, however the Holy Cross girls’s swimming and diving workforce was defeated by Boston University 191-109 on the Hart Center on the Luth Athletic Complex. The Crusaders open the season at 0-1, whereas the Terriers start the 12 months at 1-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Boghosian received the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 59.02.

• Jenk took first within the one-meter diving with a rating of 231.60.

• Junior Devin Brindle had a pair of second place finishes within the 50-yard freestyle (24.42) and the 100-yard butterfly (56.98).

• Sophomore Ellie Reinhart claimed second place in each the 100-yard backstroke (59.37) and 200-yard particular person medley (2:13.58).
