About this course

All coaching required for gaming staff and gaming managers should be recognised by Consumer and Business Services (CBS) and be delivered by an authorised Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

The AHA|SA’s RTO code is 40401.

Who wants to finish RSG1?

• New gaming staff — should full RSG1 inside 3 months earlier than or after first appointment by the BOEN system.

Delivery & venue

• Face-to-face (in individual) on the AHA Building, Level 4, 60 Hindmarsh Square, Adelaide.
• Two-day course — 9:00 am to five:00 pm on each days.

Booking & cost coverage

• All bookings should be made beneath the Hotel the place the worker is employed.
• Bookings should be authorised by the Venue/Gaming Manager or the individual specified within the Hotel’s Training Policy.
• Non-member accommodations should pay on the time of reserving.

Recognition of prior programs

The earlier standalone items Attend Gaming Machines and Provide Responsible Gambling Services do not meet present necessities.
However, staff who efficiently accomplished each items earlier than 30 March 2015 could have this recognised as satisfying the RSG1 requirement.

Progression to RSG2 & RSG3

After RSG1, staff are required to finish RSG2 after which RSG3 inside specified timeframes.
